The Honeywell IDP-ISO is an intelligent addressable line isolator module designed to protect intelligent fire alarm system wiring on the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). When a short circuit is detected, the IDP-ISO automatically isolates the affected segment of the loop, ensuring the rest of the system remains operational and unaffected.
Description
The Honeywell IDP-ISO is an intelligent addressable line isolator module designed to protect intelligent fire alarm system wiring on the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). When a short circuit is detected, the IDP-ISO automatically isolates the affected segment of the loop, ensuring the rest of the system remains operational and unaffected.
Ideal for complex or large-scale fire alarm installations, the IDP-ISO enhances system reliability and survivability by limiting the impact of wiring faults. It is compatible with Honeywell fire alarm control panels that support the Intelligent Device Protocol (IDP) and is easy to install using standard electrical boxes.
