The Simplex 2081-9046 Coil Supervision Module is designed to provide reliable, supervised control of solenoid (coil) actuators in fire-suppression releasing systems. When used in combination with compatible suppression-release peripherals and a Simplex releasing control panel (such as the 4010ES/4100ES series) it delivers a robust and code-compliant solution for actuator supervision in automatic extinguishing, deluge or pre-action sprinkler system applications.
Description
The Simplex 2081-9046 Coil Supervision Module is designed to provide reliable, supervised control of solenoid (coil) actuators in fire-suppression releasing systems. When used in combination with compatible suppression-release peripherals and a Simplex releasing control panel (such as the 4010ES/4100ES series) it delivers a robust and code-compliant solution for actuator supervision in automatic extinguishing, deluge or pre-action sprinkler system applications.
Mounted in the actuator junction box, this module monitors coil continuity, provides short-circuit supervision of the actuator circuit, and ensures the suppression system path is properly wired and maintained.
Features
- Compact supervision module that mounts directly in the actuator (solenoid) junction box — no bulky external add-on required
- Designed to monitor coil continuity and detect opens and ground faults in the actuator circuit (when used per system wiring guidelines).
- Compatible with 24 VDC solenoid coils (and approved actuators rated up to 2 A) when wired per manufacturer instructions
- Internally fused (non-replaceable) for up to 3 A, providing inherent protection of the module from over-current conditions
- Color-coded, pre-wired leads for ease of installation (Red/Black for NAC input, Yellow/Black for coil output) and clarity in separated wiring zones.
- Epoxy-encapsulated construction ensures durability in fire-system environments while maintaining compact size.
