They are designed for use in light or ordinary hazard, commercial occupancies such as banks, hotels, and shopping malls.

The TYCO Series TY-FRB 2.8, 4.2, 5.6, and 8.0 K-factor Upright, Pendent, and Recessed Pendent Sprinklers described in herein are quick response, standard coverage, decorative 3 mm glass bulb-type spray sprinklers. They are designed for use in light or ordinary hazard, commercial occupancies such as banks, hotels, and shopping malls. The TY-FRB Recessed Pendent Sprinkler, where applicable, is intended for use in areas with a finished ceiling. This recessed pendent sprinkler uses one of the following Recessed Escutcheons:
